During the night of November 3rd and 4th millions of people around the globe will be watching when the results of the US Presidential and Congressional Elections appear on the screens - state by state. The outcome will have a direct impact on US allies and partners, as well as structural implications for the global system.

What do we have to expect for NATO, trade and transatlantic relations in general in the upcoming four years?

Speaker: Dr. Heinrich Kreft

Heinrich Kreft holds the Chair for Diplomacy at Andrássy University Budapest and heads its Center for Diplomacy. He is a former German Ambassador to Luxembourg and has served at the German Embassy in Washington D.C. and studied in the US and worked at different think tanks in D.C..

Commentator: Dr. Miklos Lojko

Miklos Lojko is Associate Professor of History in the School of English and American Studies at ELTE, where he teaches ‘The British and American Political Systems’ lecture course. He also was a Visiting Professor at CEU and has studied political science in the US.
