Through the lecture of our guest, Zsombor Cseh we will travel in a country, that is barely covered by the Hungarian or even the European media, therefore we don't get accurate informations. The name of Afghanistan has merged with endless wars, terrorism and misery - unfortunately with reasons. Nevertheless, there is an Afghanistan, which doesn't make it to the headlines and we almost don't know anything about it: the Afghanistan of the everyday people. We have heard enough about the "bad guys", it is the time to unfold the story of the "good guys". This story is about them. About the everyday people who live their life in the shadow of wars with joy and cheerfullness, among sorrow and difficulties.

From the lecture on the one hand we will get a brief insight in the turbulent past of Afghanistan: how it got to its present-day status. On the other hand, through personal stories we will present how everyday life is in the war-torn Afghanistan.

Zsombor Cseh is a tour guide, Middle East researcher, freelancer photographer and journalist. During the last few years he has travelled a lot throughout the Islamic world. He was in Morocco, Indonesia, Turkey, UAE, Syria, Bosnia and seven times in his favourite country, Iran. He also was in Iraq two times. First he covered the struggle of Kurds. On the second time he wrote about the fight of peshmerga warriors against the ISIS, spending one week on the frontline. In 2016 he got to Afghanistan to discover this mysterious and hardly-known country and look what is behind the curtain.
