Pactera is an international translation and localization company. We are looking for students or anyone who may be interested in photography that would like to collaborate with us in our project about picture collection.

The aim of this project is to collect materials to train our client’s machine learning based platform.

Since this project does not require any expertise and schedule is very flexible, it is a great fit for you to plan your time as you wish as well as meeting international clients.

Please find below the projects that are available, so that you can check for your reference:

Picture Collection Projects for DSLR cameras:

  • Eagle project: We need to collect 3k pictures of the Sky (cloudy skies, rainy skies, sunny skies, etc.). Requirements: DSLR camera with GPS, RAW format support and minimum 18 megapixels resolution, from any country.
  • Duck Project: We need to collect 5k pictures of Food (food from restaurants, cooked food on plates, etc.). Requirements: DSLR camera, RAW format support and minimum 18 megapixels resolution, from any country.

Picture Collection Projects for Smartphones:

  • Zebra Project: We need to collect 3k pictures of QR codes. Requirements: Take the pictures with an smartphone and be based in China.
  • Fish Project: We need to collect 8kLive photos of scenes with text. Requirements: A smartphone with LIVE photos option. The text should be in English and all images should be taken in any of these countries: USA, Canada, India, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand.
  • OCRproject: We need to collect 39k pictures containing text in different languages (Dutch, Polish, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Czech, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish, Hungarian.). We need pictures from books, recipes, posters, flyers, etc.
  • Business Cards project: We need to collect 10k pictures of Business cards from Europe, Australia and Canada.
